Using compressed air to clean a paper or gauze air filter is generally not recommended for several reasons:
1. Damage to Filter Pores: The high pressure from compressed air can enlarge the pores in the filter material, reducing its ability to trap small particles effectively.
2. Risk of Tears: The force exerted by compressed air can potentially cause small tears or damage to the filter material, compromising its integrity.
3. Dust Resuspension: Compressed air can blow trapped dirt and dust back into the air stream, which might then be recirculated through the system.
Proper Cleaning Methods
Tap Method: Gently tap the filter against a solid surface to dislodge loose dirt and debris.
Replacement: If the filter is heavily clogged or damaged, it should be replaced rather than cleaned.
Our filters are equipped with differential pressure indicators. The indication area of the differential pressure gauge consists of two colors: green and red. When the pointer is in the green area, it means that the filter element does not need to be replaced. When the pointer points to the red area, the filter element needs to be replaced.
What are the consequences of not replacing the filter element?
1、Corrosion of gas storage tanks and transmission network pipes
2、Block valves and freeze valves and air motors
3、Low production efficiency, increased manufacturing costs, increased downtime
