Compressed air often carries a variety of pollutants, including moisture, oil, solid particles and harmful chemical impurities, which seriously affect system performance and equipment life.
Solid particles and oil will clog cylinders and pipes, causing system pressure to drop and pneumatic components to fail; and moisture not only corrodes metal parts and causes pneumatic components to fail, but also freezes in cold environments, causing pipes to freeze and crack.
Therefore, deep purification of compressed air is an indispensable part of industrial production. Efficient compressed air purification has far-reaching effects such as reducing equipment loss, avoiding product pollution, improving product quality, ensuring a healthy working environment, and preventing occupational diseases.

Different processes have different requirements for the dew point temperature of compressed air. For example, the pressure dew point of compressed air used for instruments is generally required to be below -40°C, while the pressure dew point of compressed air for semiconductor chip factories is required to be -70°C. However, in most cases, it is sufficient to require the dew point temperature of compressed air to be above 0°C. The dew point requirement of compressed air is usually achieved by a refrigerated dryer.
Cold dryer is the abbreviation of refrigerated dryer. The working principle is to use refrigerant to exchange heat with compressed air, reduce the temperature of compressed air to a dew point temperature in the range of 2-10°C, and remove moisture (water vapor component) in the compressed air.
By cooling and cooling, the water vapor in the compressed air is condensed into droplets, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing the moisture content. The condensed droplets are discharged from the machine through the automatic drainage system.
